Carpe Dium

This watercolour is of day lillies. Each bloom lasts for just a day. Hence the title "Carpe Dium"or Sieze the Day. Again my photography isnt brilliant, apologies. The wide mount is ivory coloured. The frame pale ash.
size overall 26" high by 23" wide. The scarlet and green against the white ground make the colours sing out. It is a lively painting, with a lot of detail. It is a favourite of mine.

The Lane to the Beach

This painting was done on a lovely Summer day above the harbour at Mousehole in Cornwall. Flowers were captured tumbling down the garden walls. What first caught my eye was the shapes made by the roofs of the cottages.

The actual size of this painting (framed in a pale cream mount and pale wood frame) is 20" wide by 16" high. Cost is £75 plus postage for this original work.

Indian Summer

This painting was inspired by the warm light levels and dappled shadows in a small beech copse nearby to where I live. The colours are vibrant with the sunlight filtering through the fiery Autumn leaves. As usual there is much detail to be found in my work without marring the overall mood of the painting. My painting is better than my photography! So please forgive the quality of the representative picture.

The actual size of this painting (framed in a deep off-white mount and pale wood frame) is 25" wide by 21" high. Cost is £150 plus postage for this original work.
